Our graduate programme is open to graduates of any discipline.

You will work within the Investment area as part of a structured 2-year programme, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to key aspects of Abbey Capital’s investment activities. The role is designed to provide a strong foundation in the business, helping you develop your skills and understand how your work contributes to the wider organisation.

You will be learning on the job, supported by experienced colleagues and we will also encourage and support your professional development through qualifications such as CFA or CAIA.

Through our interview process, we are keen to learn more about you as a person, your strengths and attributes and motivations, while also giving you an insight into what it’s like to work at Abbey Capital.

How to apply?

Entry Requirements

Our graduate positions are open to those with at least a 2.1 degree or Masters qualification, and a strong interest in working in financial markets. You may be a recent graduate or someone with up to one year’s relevant experience. Any experience in coding would be a distinct advantage.

Private Healthcare

We provide full cover on our Corporate Healthcare Plan for you, your partner and dependents.

On-Site Gym & Showers

Everyone has free access to our on-site gym, changing room and showers. During the year, our social committee organises exercise classes, such as yoga or pilates, that are free for all staff to attend.

Social Events

Our active social committee organise events every month (both virtual and face-to-face) such as wine tasting, table quizzes, cocktail making classes and pizza nights. On an annual basis, all staff and their partners and children are invited to a weekend away including hotel accommodation, dinner, drinks and activities.

Virtual/On-Site Lunches

We regularly order food to be delivered to the office for a mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack or over lunchtime. Every Tuesday in the office is Tasty Tuesday!! with meals, snacks or desserts ordered to the office by our Social Committee. This is an opportunity for people to catch up informally in the office.

Paid Time Off

Annual Leave: Our standard annual leave allowance is 22 days excluding public holidays. Your annual leave increases with length of service starting at 5 years. You also have the option of buying an additional 1-5 days annual leave at the start of every year.

Additional paid time off

Wedding Leave: For those getting married, you are entitled to 3 days leave to take around the time of your wedding. House-Move Leave: If you are moving house, you are entitled to take a day’s leave to support you in this milestone event.
