People Stories

Rachel Finn, Fund Accountant Intern

“Abbey Capital was a fantastic environment for me to start my financial career. I picked up a lot of hard and soft skills and gained confidence in my professional abilities. It gave me courage to enter the workforce.”

Tom O’Nuallain, Investment Analyst Intern

“I feel I have learnt a huge amount in a relatively short space of time, and really progressed as a professional. I have improved my programming skills through an online programming course and my knowledge of the Managed Futures industry has also dramatically improved, given it was something I knew little to nothing about before starting my internship. The team and culture here is great, the friendliness has made it very easy to settle in and the social committee does a great job. The option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays has really appealed to me given the time it saves commuting each day.”

Rachel Lynch, Investment Analyst Intern

“I work alongside the research team, gaining invaluable insights into the managed futures space. The learning process at Abbey Capital is very hands-on and I love the mix of educational opportunities and project work. There is an open and collaborative culture and senior staff are more than generous with their time.”
